"During the summer of 2017, STEM Advantage helped me land an internship with Deluxe Entertainment as an Information Security Analyst. After the summer, Deluxe offered me a part-time position while I finished school which I was so grateful for and I wouldn't have had that without STEM Advantage help. Right after graduating, I was presented with an opportunity to join Accenture as a Consulting Analyst. I never knew this is something I will ever do, but thanks to my STEM Advantage mentor, Mr. Albert Ma who guided me in my decision and helped me to see this vision for myself. Position: Quality Assurance Engineer

"My role consists of testing firmware and software on IoT products called Wemo via its hardware and their app for iOS and Android. Wemo is a Smart Home Automation product line from Belkin that enables users to control their electronic devices locally and remotely from their cellular device. I check for bugs within the app on the most recent versions of iOS/Android phones (iPhone 8, X, Google Pixel 2XL, etc. to name a few!) and log any defects within their bug-tracking system. My reports would include video recordings of the defects along with console logs from the phone and the hardware itself. I also get to experience testing and integrating their partnered products such as Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Apple HomeKit, Nest Thermostat, and IFTTT!"
