June is all about INTERNSHIPS, so for this issue, we focus on Internships!

Internships provide scholars with HANDS-ON opportunities and are pathways to employment post-graduation. STEM Advantage has a 100% graduation and hire rate for our scholars.

This year, we saw a record number of STEM Advantage Scholars participate in full-time, Summer internships. We want to highlight a few of them here:

NEW Partner TTM Technologies hosted their FIRST STEM Advantage Intern, Nieann, a Chemical Engineering major at  Cal State Long Beach, our newest CSU Partner! In this photo, she is shown entering the Clean Room, where she was able to explore the different stages of making Printed Circuit Boards.

Support our Fund-A-Scholar program and provide scholarship funds to STEM Advantage Scholars. We are committed to supporting our scholars to graduate with less student debt.  Through our "23 by 2023" expansion program, we will serve all 23 campuses in the California State University System; your funds will help us reach MORE women and under-served students achieve their goals-graduate with a STEM degree and land a STEM job!
