Congratulations to our recent graduates!
|
We are very proud of our STEM Advantage Scholars who recently graduated. Most of our Scholars are first generation college students. They have bright futures and will be wonderful role models for young girls and boys. The support that YOU provided via paid internships, mentorships, and scholarships contributed to the students' success - thank you!
"Thank you very much for what you do for STEM and the students. It is greatly appreciated. Please continue to do what you do because it is great." -- Stephanie, BA Computer Technology with a focus on Homeland Security, CSU Dominguez Hills.

Women in Technology: Hollywood honors Cindy McKenzie with Leadership Award
|
Congratulations Cindy! On May 25, Women in Technology: Hollywood (WiTH) honored Cindy McKenzie, CIO, Deluxe Entertainment Services Group, as a WiTH Leadership Award Winner. Cindy's participation in the advancement of women in entertainment technology has made a significant difference to the women and young girls around her.
Cindy is STEM Advantage's Vice President and Internship Chair. STEM Advantage would not exist without Cindy's passion and commitment to helping young women and underserved students prepare for and launch STEM careers. Cindy's a role model and has opened many doors to help level the playing field for students who have talent, but don't have the opportunity and network.
Plus, STEM Advantage was honored as a designated charity of the 2017 WiTH Leadership Awards. WiTH is donating 100% of all revenues from its award sponsorships to three charities that consistently deliver on the same goals as the WiTH organization. Thank you to WiTH Co-chairs Nadya Ichinomiya and Rachel Souder-Arguedas, the WiTH Steering Committee, and MESA Executive Director Guy Finley for recognizing Cindy & STEM Advantage!
