On Saturday, April 21, 2018, STEM Advantage held its 6th Annual Scholarship Fundraiser at Sony Pictures Studios. 200 guests attended, our largest event to date!
Wolfgang Puck Catering provided the delicious food and beverages and our program included Frank Mottek, KNX 1070 as Emcee.
Board Members Cindy Mckenzie and David Buckholtz, Honorary CO-Chairs opened the event, with presentations by Chris Gray of Scholly, Dan Priest( PWC and Board Member), and a Scholars Panel moderated by Daraiha Greene, Head of Multicultural Engagement, CS in Media, Google including Alumna Shawna and current scholars Karina and Arrion.
We netted $150,000 in STEM Advantage scholarship funds through sponsorships and the Fund-a-Scholar Auction, thank you to everyone for your support!
