Paul Calvo

Paul Calvo is a Program Associate with a degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. His career has spanned multiple disciplines, including well engineering, electrical systems, and data science. While at Stanford, Paul discovered a love for teaching—tutoring students in computer science and math—and he continues to enjoy breaking down complex concepts in ways that are clear and accessible.

As a formerly incarcerated scholar, Paul is deeply committed to expanding access to higher education for others with similar backgrounds. He mentors first-generation and low-income students, drawing from his own journey to show that it’s possible to rewrite your story and thrive in fields like tech and engineering.

Outside of work, Paul can often be found smoking a tri-tip, cheering on his son at soccer games, or tinkering with one of his many late-night projects.
