
Program Manager for Mentorships and Talent Development
Tania Velazquez is Program Manager for Mentorships and Talent Development, which includes professional development, career panels and leadership development. Previously, Tania led the mentoring programming efforts at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles. She earned a B.A. in Political Science and Advocacy & Social Change from Loyola University Chicago with additional stints in Mexico City and Rome. Currently, Tania is earning her Master’s in Social Work at San Jose State University. Tania is a passionate professional dedicated in providing holistic support. She is experienced in program development and execution in the realm of youth empowerment with a focus of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices. As a first-generation Latina, she is determined in curating communal intersectional spaces for advancement. One of her goals is to strengthen our mentoring program to be viewed as a leading practice.
