FUSE is for incoming California State University Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) freshmen who are majoring, or thinking of majoring, in any CSUDH STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) major. FUSE is a yearlong program that aims to enhance the college learning experience and help students succeed in introductory courses in these high-demand fields. Lee Ann Kline and two STEM Advantage Scholars Emily and Tom discussed our program and met with the freshmen and their parents. We also collected emails to pair the Freshmen women, in particular, with a mentor to help retention of women in STEM fields.
