On Saturday, April 30, our 4th annual gala was held on the 30th floor of the AT&T Center which provided nearly 200 guests with stunning, panoramic views of downtown Los Angeles.
Frank Mottek of KNX 170 served as the Master of Ceremony generously donating his time. Guest speakers included Provost Ellen Junn (CSU Dominguez Hills), Joan Samuels (Managed Career Solutions) and Ron Guerrier (Chief Information Officer, Farmers Insurance Group). STEM Advantage Scholars and an Alumna (Edith, Adam, Adriany, Steven and Emily) shared their inspiring stories of how the program has changed their lives by opening doors, helping them gain real-world experience, and supporting their dreams.
