Last week, I completed two weeks of information sessions and resume writing workshops at our five (5) California State University Partner campuses. This year, we have added our newest partner, California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and their outreach session was standing room only!

Our applications are due no later than Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 11:59PM, so if you attend Cal State Dominguez Hills, Cal State Long Beach, Cal State Los Angeles, Cal State Northridge, or Cal Poly Pomona, are a Sophomore standing or above, graduating after December 2019, have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher, are enrolled full-time, are a US Citizen or Permanent Resident, and are majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, Cyber Security/Homeland Security, Engineering, or Math, make sure you apply!
I am excited to meet this year’s (2019) cohort…after application review we schedule a 15 minute interview with each qualified applicant and once selected, you will become part of the STEM Advantage community!
For students who are first-year students, or are attending a community college intending to transfer to a Cal State Campus in Spring 2019 or Fall 2019, make sure you complete our intake form to get on our mailing list for information about upcoming events, workshops, career panels, conference sessions, and more…plus, you will receive our application in time to apply for next year’s cohort (2020).
